About KR Apparels
The roots of the KR Apparels can be traced back to a tiny downtown production unit Mumbai.
On the onset of the readymade garment manufacturing industry in 1979, their business started off as an experimental one.
But soon these experiments took shape and we became the number one men’s shirts and trousers brand in Kerala.
And the rapid growth in other southern Indian states followed.
Their approach as a brand was to provide a holistic clothing solution to customers which included everything from corporate wear, casual wear, party wear and ceremonial wear.
Over time we managed to carve out a niche as a lifestyle brand in South India.
Problems They Faced
Despite its reputation for producing high-quality clothing items, KR Apparels faced several challenges when it came to managing customer requests.
For instance, when a customer asked for a sample image of a particular product or enquired about the availability of a particular item, the company had to manually search for the relevant images in a different folder.
This process was not only time-consuming but also prone to errors, as there were instances when the company sent the wrong images to customers.
Additionally, KR Apparels faced challenges in managing its inventory, as it was difficult to keep track of the stock levels in real-time.
This often led to situations where the company received orders for products that were out of stock, resulting in poor customer experiences.
How We Helped Them
To address these challenges, MIDAP developed a comprehensive solution that enabled KR Apparels to manage its inventory more efficiently and improve the overall customer experience.
MIDAP developed a custom Google Sheet that was linked to the company’s inventory.
The sheet was designed in a way that made it easy for the company’s staff to update the inventory levels in real-time.
MIDAP also developed a utility client URL that KR Apparels could send to its customers.
When a customer clicked on the link, they were directed to a page where they could select the product they wanted, and mention the desired quantity.
Once the order was submitted, it was sent directly to the dispatch team, who could then process the order in real-time.
The new system not only improved the overall efficiency of KR Apparels’ inventory management but also led to a significant improvement in the customer experience.
Customers no longer had to wait for the company to manually search for the relevant images, and they could easily check whether a particular product was in stock or not.
Additionally, the dispatch team could process orders more quickly and accurately, resulting in a better overall customer experience.
The solution not only helped KR Apparels streamline its operations but also helped the company build stronger relationships with its customers.
