How MIDAP Enabled Dynamic Multi-Entry Workflow Automation

How MIDAP Enabled Dynamic Multi-Entry Workflow Automation

Client Overview

A growing business was struggling with managing repeatable data entries within a single workflow. Their existing system was rigid and couldn’t handle multiple submissions in a structured and controlled way.

As a result, operations were inconsistent, and teams often missed critical data before moving to the next stage.

The Problem

The client needed a system where:

  • A user could raise a single request
  • Define how many times a specific task should be repeated
  • Ensure the process only moved forward after all entries were completed

But their current setup had major gaps:

  • No control over incomplete data
  • Manual tracking of repeated entries
  • High chances of errors and missed steps
  • Workflow moving forward without full information

The Solution by MIDAP

Using MIDAP’s workflow automation system, we designed a smart, logic-driven process that solved the problem completely.

1. Input-Based Automation

  • Added a field: Repetition Count
  • User simply enters a number (like 2, 3, or 5)
  • This number decides how many times the step will repeat

2. Automatic Step Looping

  • The system automatically reopens the same step
  • Each submission gets stored and added to a structured grid
  • No need for manual tracking

3. Built-in Validation System

  • MIDAP (MI Digital Autopilot) checks in real-time:
    Grid Entries = Repetition Count
  • If not matched → workflow does NOT move forward
  • The step repeats until all entries are completed

4. Controlled Workflow Movement

  • Once all entries are done:
    • Workflow automatically moves to the next step
    • No manual intervention required

Example in Action

  • User enters Repetition Count = 2
  • Step 1 is completed twice
  • System records both entries
  • Only after both are submitted → process moves ahead

Key Features Delivered

  • Dynamic workflow based on user input
  • Automated multi-entry handling
  • Real-time validation control
  • Structured data storage (grid format)
  • Zero dependency on manual tracking

Business Impact

This transformation created a clear shift in operations:

  • 100% Data Completeness
No step moves forward without full input
  • Stronger Process Control
No more missed entries or confusion
  • Higher Team Efficiency
    Reduced follow-ups and manual checks
  • Scalable System
Easily works for 2 entries or even 50+ entries

Final Outcome

With MIDAP, the client moved from a manual, error-prone workflow to a system-driven, automated process. Now, every request follows a clear structure.
No missing data. No confusion. No delays.
